TIPS

Always create your PDF file using the highest PDF style setting for press (this will increase files size and ensure the highest quality file.)

To minimize font conflicts, convert fonts to a graphic when available (and embed fonts when available.)

When prompted, always save your file with CMYK color options. (not RGB)

In many cases, to create a PDF, a PostScript printer needs to be insalled on your computer.

Important Instructions About Color

Standard 1 and 2 Color Orders:
In order to minimize electronic file problems, make sure to use separate spot process colors; CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black._ If your job is only going to be one color, you would submit your file in black. The press person applies the correct color at press time. In the case of a two color job your first color would be black and your second color would be magenta or cyan. Beware of using RGB (Red, Green, Blue)
and other color types in your efile which cause color separation problems in pre-press.

Full Color Orders :
In the case of full color work, provide your file using process color CMYK. Be sure to avoid RGB and other color types in your file, which may cause file problems and inferior color matching in CMYK,

Instruction about layout:
There is no need to step and repeat your card or to include page / printer marks. We will do so, as necessary. Make sure the size of your electronic file page / document corresponds to the item you are ordering. For example, if you are supplying a business card, make sure your page / document is 3.5" x 2" - If your business card bleeds, bleed the image an aditional 1/8". For example, a business card that bleeds on four sides should have the dimension 2.25" x 3.75".
